Film idea

My film idea is based on films such as Abduction, Gone, Taken and other film with the same sort of storyline being abducted. The genre of my film is action, drama, thriller and mystery which is similar to the genre of the films i listed above. I am planning on making a trailer and may consider making a short filming depending on what i choose to do later on.



My film idea is about a young women who has heard that her best friend is missing and the police believe that she has been murdered and may be died. However she has the feeling that her best friend is not died but is alive and has been abducted, this is because she seem to be having vision of her best friend in a dark room crying and calling out for her to help her and that she has only twenty four days to live. The character has problems sleeping and cant sleep until she find her friend. She set out a mission to find her and goes through a lot of obstacle to find her.




This idea has been based on the film Gone. 'When her sister disappears, Jill is convinced the serial killer who kidnapped her two years ago has returned for her but takes her sister instead, and she sets out to once again face her abductor.'


The film taken has also given me a couple of ideas for my film. 'A retired CIA agent travels across Europe and relies on his old skills to save his estranged daughter, who was kidnapped on a trip to Paris to be sold into prostitution.'




Sasha- is the main character who set out to find her friend. 
Chloe  -is the person who has been abducted.


Sasha and Chloe have know each other there hole lives this is because they  both lived in a foster home and have not been separate since they meet. They would usually consider each other as sister, since both Sasha and Chloe had no family so they tend to support each other and are very protective towards each other. So when Sasha  returned from holiday and found out that Chloe had not been seen or heard from for two days and after a couple of hour Sasha began having dreams of Chloe crying and calling out for her to help her.

 Abduction:

 The film abduction has a genre of thriller, drama, mystery  and action. A thriller centred on a young man who sets out to uncover the truth about his life after finding his baby photo on a missing persons website. This film stood out to me because I was planning on doing a thriller/action film based on the theme kidnapping and abduction. When watching the trailer I realised that this film has given me ideas of what type of film I wanted to do.

The reason why I have choose these two films is because the both relate by genre. I am planning on doing a film trailer with a similar theme of being abducted and the way in which they struggle to find out the truth of what really happened or is going to happen.

Gone:

This film has a similar genre to abduction of thriller and action. A women believe that her kidnapper has returned when she find out that her sister is missing and set out to find her and the man who she believe to be the kidnapper. While watching the trailer i found this film very interesting and it gave me many ideas for the sort of trailer i would like to do.

Johnny english reborn does not have a twitter or a Facebook because its a kids film and this show hat twitter and Facebook is not a good form of new technology.
The film johnny english has short clip of the film shown on to attract it target audience which could be children.

Audience Theory

Passive audience are people who accept the message that is being given by the media.

Active audience are people which question the message being given by the media and respond to it, also creating their own meanings towards it.

Interactive audience is people who create their own media texts and influence people by there media texts.

The hypodermic needle model theory:

hypodermic needle model is a theory which explains who audiences react to mass media. showed that audience had the messages going straight to there minds. in this theory the media messages are excepted by the audiences and that the audience have no way of interpreting the texts.

Reception theory:


reception theory is who the audience understand the text. is that it is based on the fact that more  cultural similarities there are between audience members and the affect of the media texts and who they understand it.

Mass Audience Theory

 I use the computer to socialise with friends and family which are not live far distance.  i use a mobile phone to  stay in contact with people. i used the TV for entertainment and to watch thing which i enjoy.
I have been influence by the media to by product which they advertise on TV which seem appealing to me, such as perfume's, make up, food etc.

I have formed opinions on something based on how it is portrayed in the media, for example i have opinions on specific celebrities by the way the dress and act.  

i  believe that the mass  mass media does influence some30. people rather then the whole audience it is appealing  to. i believe that everyone is different and interpreter things in a different way.  However as an audience we should know the what is right and wrong and not live in a fantasy world. As human being we know what right and wrong and a violent film should not be able to change us.

Film 4 is a movie production which has original come from the channel called channel 4.  film 4 produces  films from different genres which there views will enjoy. The genres of the films on film 4 seem that most of them are drama but have different genres, unlike some other film production would only focus on one or two specific genres.
